Kyle Andersen

Kyle is a talented designer who strives for site-specific solutions in all of his work. He has led the design of some of GBD’s most environmentally sensitive and complex projects, including the award winning LEED Platinum Eco-District development at Hassalo on Eighth. His passion for design focuses on placemaking and delight, which he sees as imperative for architecture that is functional, sustainable, and economically sound.  Kyle has been the lead designer on several complex large scale mixed use projects such as OHSU CHH, Bellevue Towers, 2nd and Pine, PCC Willow Creek, and Edge Lofts, which together speaks to Kyle’s ability to beautifully solve diverse building programs and types. When not hanging out with his family enjoying the pulse of the city, the serenity of the mountains, or the fun at the coast he likes to spend his free time working on his 1967 Karmann Ghia Cabriolet.
