Kent has been with GBD for more than 24 years and leads GBD’s interior architecture, design and space planning team. He has specialized expertise in office design, visioning, programming, and engaging user groups, in addition to detailed analysis of space needs. Kent brings a breadth of experience encompassing all aspects of commercial office design—from corporate office headquarters and tenant improvements to retail programs, law firms and civic project types. He believes strongly in designing the most efficient workplaces, which include flexible, open spaces that allow for collaboration among project teams. His recent completed work includes the Portland Headquarters of JLL—named by the Portland Business Journal as one of the coolest workspaces in the city.
