For five generations, the Gebbers family has grown some of the world’s finest apples and cherries. Today, the family is offering a portion of their 40,000-acre ranch as the future Gamble Ranch Golf Resort, named in honor of their ancestors, Dan and Cora Gamble, who homesteaded the area in 1885.
Brewster, Washington, the location of the future course, is located on the southern edge of the famous Okanogan region, which extends north into Canada. Just 60 miles north of Wenatchee and 25 miles east of Lake Chelan, Brewster has unbeatable weather, uncrowded parks, water recreation, friendly folks and the ambiance of small town America.
GBD completed the Gamble Ranch Golf Resort master plan and conceptual design in 2008. The vision is a high-end, Pacific Northwest destination resort community with a variety of outdoor recreational activities. With such spectacular weather, the focus of the resort will be two world-class golf courses, a quaint retail village, an outdoor amphitheater, a full-service equestrian center, a boutique hotel, spa and fitness center, and 500-900 dwellings in a wide range of unit types.
